Coach Henry
Coach Henry is very excited to start his fourth season in charge of the Gable Bucks Boys Basketball Program! In his first season at the helm, Coach Henry led his Gable Bucks to the 2013-14 Peachtree Regular Season Conference Championship with a record of 10-1. The team also finished Peachtree Tournament Runners Up after a heartbreaking defeat in overtime in the championship game. Overall, his team finished with a impressive 14-3 record on the year. Following a rebuilding year, Coach Henry hopes to continue his program's success as he prepares for his upcoming season.
Coach Henry began his career as a coach back in 1999 as an assistant coach for the Otto-Eldred varsity boys basketball team in Duke Center, PA. He then moved to Albany, NY to begin his teaching career and was a head coach at the middle school level for 6 years. In 2008, he moved to South Carolina to start his family. After a several year hiatus, Coach Henry was happy to get back into basketball 5 years ago by helping Coach Ryan direct the Dorman Developmental League.
Coach Henry was born and raised in Upstate New York. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine as well as his Teacher Certification. He has a Masters of Science from SUNY Albany as a Literacy Specialist and most recently obtained his Ed.S in Administration and Supervision from Clemson University. This will be Coach Henry's 15th year teaching, and his 9th year working for Spartanburg County School District Six. This is his third year teaching 6th grade math at Gable Middle School.
Coach Henry lives in Roebuck with his beautiful wife Teresa, and his two boys Lucas (age 8) and Nicholas (age 5).

Coach Faulkner
We are blessed to have Coach Faulkner on board for another season with the Gable Bucks Boys Basketball Program. Coach Faulkner will once again be coaching the 7th grade boys basketball team and helping out with the 8th grade team when available. He began his coaching career in 1998 as an assistant coach at Fairforest Middle School where he coached for three seasons. Coach Faulkner has also coached local community basketball teams and worked at the Clemson University basketball camp. He has also served as an assistant football coach at Gable Middle School for the past seven seasons.
Coach Faulkner grew up in Roebuck, SC where he attended Gable Middle School and graduated from Dorman High School. He then went on to graduate from Erskine College in 1998 and then received his Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of South Carolina in 2009. He has worked in the Roebuck community since 1998, including teaching in Spartanburg County School District Six for the past 8 years.
